In the Civil Rights Act, 2012,–

(1) for sub-section (1) of section 16 the following sub-section
(1) It is kept:- "(1) The person who is arrested or detained may file a complaint in the relevant appellate court or district court by himself or by someone else for the order of direct arrest."

(2) Sub-section of section 17 ( 1) substituted the following subsection
(1) It is kept:- "(1) If anyone suspects that any of his rights conferred by this Act have been violated, a complaint can be filed in the relevant Appellate Court or District Court."
